TEXT: Project is a renovation and refurbishment of a late modernist, 13-storey building in the centre of Ljubljana. The hotel dates back to Slovenia’s socialist era and is now mainly used for business travellers. A complete refurbishment was done with redesign of the rooms and restructuring of the ground floor to include a new, extended lobby, conference rooms and dining areas. On the ground floor a café with an integrated bakery opens onto a street-side terrace divided by an inviting self standing double reception counter.
