TEXT: Palace Crispi, a historical gem near Trieste's coast, underwent a transformative metamorphosis from an office building to an opulent residence. The 160 sqm apartment reflects a blend of Vienna and Trieste cultures, preserving private spaces and embracing an airy Mediterranean ambiance. Thoughtful furnishings, from contemporary pieces like special dining table to sentimental antiques, harmoniously compose the space. Centraly positioned sleeping room, preserved wooden floor and terrazo would be three main design motifs of this old city apartment. A long window bench adds a Mediterranean touch, inviting residents to enjoy the lively street scenes below.
